The messy, care-free ombre hair trend has been seen on likes of Shenae Grimes, Whitney Port, Ashlee Simpson, and Sarah Jessica Parker. Almost looking as though one has procrastinated on getting their roots done the style begins at the top of the head with a dark color (usually brown) and fades to a lighter color (usually blonde). Some, like Lady Gaga and multiple fashion bloggers, have pushed the envelope with this trend by experimenting with bright hues often fading from a platinum blonde color to yellows, purples, pinks, or blues. Since the ombre hairstyle focuses mainly at the roots of the hair it is a great choice for an effortless, low maintenance do!
